Committing to planting a tree for every inspection.
Brisbane Building Reports is excited to announce that we have partnered with Carbon Positive Australia in order to plant a tree for every inspection this year. Carbon Positive Australia is an organisation we believe (with good reason) does great things, as it is an independent charity that has been restoring degraded lands through ecologically sensitive planting for the last 20 years.

About the project:
BBR has asked to donate to the Nimbin, NSW project. We chose this is a located on a 33 hectare, high value koala habitat. In 2022 Carbon Positive Australia plans to plant a diverse mix of approximately 70,000 native dry rainforest, sclerophyll and riparian species across the site.
Not only does planting trees in this location help restore the habitat of native endangered species like koalas, it also aids in carbon sequestration, increasing biodiversity, improving water quality and provides a positive impact on local communities.

Why we chose Carbon Positive Australia:
It has been estimated that safeguarding and restoring projects – like Carbon Positive’s – around the world may reduce well over 50,000,000,000 tonnes of carbon emissions over the coming decades. We are excited to contribute to the reduction and preservation through a committed charity like CPA.
BBR recognises the importance of safeguarding not only our climate, but also for our natural ecosystem. There are thousands of charities around the world that plant trees in various ways. It was important to us, first and foremost, we partner with an Australian charity to help out in our own backyard. It was also essential to us when searching to partner with an organisation that plants flora indigenous to Australia in order to preserve our unique and beautiful ecosystem.
Brisbane Building Reports is proud to be taking this step with such a worthwhile charity and will continue to find ways to reduce emissions. As of the end of January 2022 we are happy to share we have donated 47 trees. To find out more about what we’re doing and for further updates – visit our page here.
