All licences in Queensland are managed by the QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission), this regulator is known for having the most rigorous standards in Australia. Under QBCC regulations, a person is required to hold a “Completed Residential Building Inspection” licence and a “Termite Management” licence.

To acquire the aforementioned “Completed Residential Building Inspection” licence, the applicant must prove they have worked as a licensed builder, building surveyor, assistant building surveyor or building surveyor technician for five (5) consecutive years. This process requires the applicant to outline when and where they have worked, in addition to producing three (3) referees. Once this has been done, the applicant also must complete a course through a registered provider to prove they have the skills and knowledge necessary for working as a building inspector.

Our experienced building inspector, Chris, has been an active member of the building industry for 40 years and has always striven to diversify his knowledge base – in doing so he has become a fully licensed and insured carpenter, joiner, builder, asbestos remover, building inspector and accredited methamphetamine inspector.

This is our terms and conditions, which needs to be signed (electronically) and returned to us to confirm the booking.

Yes, the subfloor & roof spaces are included in the inspections (providing there is safe access).
