What should I do with my inspection report?

BRISBANE BUILDING REPORTS

The first thing you should do with your report is read it.

Yes, read it. It might seem obvious, but it is critical you read all of it.

Building inspection reports, particularly building & pest reports, are often 20 or more pages of detailed information. It may seem overwhelming, but it is important you understand the full scope of the report. Going through the report section by section can be easier. Take notes, highlight significant information, or engage in similar strategies to ensure you have full understanding and have quick reference for that information later. We also recommend noting and considering how you would prioritise any work you will have to attend to yourself if/when the purchase contract is finalised.

Also note any questions you may have, as they may be resolved later in the report. If that is not the case, please call Chris, so he can explain further. Chris may also help you understand the impact the report and findings may have on your purchase contract.

We advise you read over the report once again as a refresher once you have finalised the sale. Once again, Chris is always at the end of the phone to help anyone.
