A targeted pest inspection identifies any significant building, safety and pest issues that may devalue the property.
These inspections are performed by a licensed pest technician trained to identify the presence of timber pests within a dwelling in accordance with the Australian Standard. We are required by the QBCC to undertake all of our inspections in accordance with Australian Standards (AS 4349.1-2007) but we pride ourselves in going above and beyond these already high standards to ensure you receive the best possible service.
Our experienced inspector can detect the presence of timber pests by the presence of weakened timber that may not be visible through painted surfaces. Brisbane Building Reports uses visual inspection techniques as well as Thermal Imaging technology to ensure the most thorough inspection possible.

Identifying Any Significant Issues
Pest Inspections use a combination of sight checking and the latest thermal technology.
Tapping on frames, door jams, cabinets, and components of wood construction can reveal problems indicating pest presence or damage as a result.
